As social entrepreneurs, we believe it's important to make an impact. That impact must therefore be shared with the outside world. As far as we can tell, we're the first mushroom grower in the world to publish an impact report that's also linked to the SDGs. We're thrilled to be able to quantify our impact at this level of detail.

It's a first step, and with the first step, you begin. We're still missing things like electricity and gas consumption. Unfortunately, these units couldn't be measured in our nursery or our office in BlueCity. We drew power for our nursery from four different meter boxes.

Due to the fire on May 23, 2017, this report is, in many ways, a six-month overview. We normally sell most mushrooms in the last three months of the year. We missed that peak last year.

This impact report is part of a new wave of change. With the help of designer Charly Blödel, we've given our corporate identity a fresh new look. A new logo, new colors, and a new approach. All part of our #resprouting campaign.
