The Paris Climate Goals, Sustainable Development Goals, CSR, and performance ladders... as an entrepreneur, it's hard to see the forest for the trees. Sustainability, circularity, and cradle-to-cradle are essential to achieving the climate goals. But how do you implement this as an entrepreneur today? In his book "The Blue Revolution," Siemen Cox shows you how in four simple steps.
On Sunday, April 22, 2018, Earth Day, Siemen will present his book and his CARE-FUL method at BlueCity, the circular model city in the former Tropicana in Rotterdam.
CARE-FUL method
Siemen Cox explains: “To tackle the challenges of our time and bring about change, we need entrepreneurs. To help this group realize their sustainable ambitions, I've developed a method based on my experiences as a sustainable entrepreneur. Using the four steps of the CARE-FUL method, sustainability becomes child's play.”
Big impact
Entrepreneurs, in particular, can make a big impact with relatively little effort. Every day, they can decide to contribute to a better world by DOING. One of Siemen's suggestions in his book is to draw inspiration from nature. Everything is abundant in nature: water, oxygen, food, and biomass. In "The Blue Revolution," Siemen draws interesting parallels between nature and entrepreneurship and shares eight lessons for radical sustainability.
