More energy produced than it consumes!

Born in BlueCity010 and moved to De Kroon in 2019.

2020 was our nursery's first full year of operation. This finally allowed us to map out the entire consumption and production of the past year.

Guess what?

In 2020, we generated more energy at the nursery than we consumed. This energy production even covers a large portion of our 100% electric, emission-free transportation through the city center.

Sustainable food production takes on a new dimension.
1) Saving coffee grounds from incineration
2) Vegetable proteins instead of animal proteins
3) Production based on local waste flows and local sales
4) Emission-free delivery in the [inner] city
5) Energy negative [generating more than consuming]
