'Roll up your sleeves' Internship
Rotterzwam is growing! And so is our production of super-fresh oyster mushrooms and everything that comes with it. If you're handy, driven, and a hands-on person, we could really use your help!
What does rotterzwam stand for?
Rotterzwam is one of the best-known circular businesses in Rotterdam and the Netherlands. We believe in a society where cycles are closed, resources are used optimally, and food is produced locally. That's why we've been growing super-fresh oyster mushrooms on Rotterdam coffee grounds since 2013.
What are you going to do?
- Help with the processing of the coffee grounds
- Monitor the growth process in the growing containers
- Harvesting oyster mushrooms
- All kinds of other supporting tasks to keep the nursery running
- You are studying in the agricultural sector
- You are independent, enterprising and have a proactive attitude
- You are available at least 32 hours a week
- You have an affinity with sustainability and the circular economy

An internship allowance is unfortunately not feasible at the moment, but you will definitely receive a portion of mushrooms, our delicious vegan bitterballen or croquettes and a grow kit to grow yourself.
